*How many images do I receive?
The amount of images in your gallery varies from session to session. On average, most galleries are between 50-70+ images. Rest assured, though, you will receive a wide variety of the best images from our session together. Candid moments are some of my favorite moments to capture. I hardly put my camera down.

*When will I receive my images?
Within three weeks of our session together, you will receive an email with a link to your gallery. From there, you are able to access your gallery and download all or some of the images. You may also share the link to your gallery to your loved ones and friends for them to enjoy. You have full rights to the images for printing and sharing purposes.

*Are you willing to travel?
Yes! I provide services locally to the Puyallup and Tacoma, Washington area. Travel to locations within these areas is included in the session fee. Any location outside of these areas would incur an additional travel fee to be discussed at booking. Prices vary depending on distance from Alaska, length of stay, rental car, etc. I sometimes travel for other purposes to Alaska and Colorado and offer sessions during my stay. *How do I book a session and what is the process after that?
First of all, I am SO excited and cannot wait! There are several ways to contact me to let me know what photography services you are desiring. You can send me an email at rachelaikenphotography@gmail.com, click the Contact button at the top of the screen and fill out the form, or send me a message from the Rachel Aiken Photography Facebook or Instagram page.
From there, I will get to know more about you and we will coordinate to determine the best date/time and location to ensure your photograph vision comes to life! Closer to your session date, I will message you reminders and check-in to make sure I know all of your hopes. We will discuss payment options and can chat about outfits and styling.  If you would like, we can meet up for coffee and get to know one another better (helps ease day-of butterflies to ensure everyone is relaxed).

*What if the weather looks like it might interfere with our session?
Weather in Washington can be unpredictable. A day that starts rainy or snowy can end with bright, blue skies. Do not let the weather worry you or cause you to cancel your session. Shooting in the rain and snow can be fun! Overcast days are actually better for photos, ensuring more consistent lighting and prevents squinting or harsh shadows. I love embracing the elements of the day and making memories out of it!

*What should we wear?
Pinterest is usually where I start when piecing together my family's outfits. My RAP Style Pinterest board is always available for viewing and inspiration. Consider the season your session will be in and the overall look you are hoping to achieve to help guide any color choices. I tend to opt for darker colors and neutrals in the fall and winter. In the spring, pastels and lighter colors compliment the scenery best. Summer is the best time to rock a bold color. I always recommend starting with the leading lady's wardrobe first (momma, girlfriend/fiance/wife). Build from there the rest of the group's outfits using coordinating colors and patterns. If you are wanting to incorporate colors, consider the color wheel. Colors on opposite sides of the wheels, complimentary colors, pair well together.
